The Women Development Cell (WDC) in association with Dombivli Mahila Mahasangh organized a session on "The Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 – Provisions Related to Women" on 30th July, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. in the college auditorium. The session aimed to create legal awareness among students regarding the rights of women and the key provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. The resource person explained important legal provisions related to crimes against women, safety measures, and the remedies available under the new law. The interactive session helped students understand the significance of legal awareness and gender justice.

Total of 94 students attended the session out of which 32 were boys and 62 were girls. The session was informative and impactful, helping students develop a better understanding of the legal framework protecting women's rights. It successfully promoted legal literacy, encouraged responsible citizenship, and highlighted the importance of creating a safe and respectful environment for women in society.
