The Fresher’s Party for the students of B.Sc. IT, B.Sc. Data Science, B.Sc. AI & ML, and B.Sc. Cyber Security and digital forensic was successfully organized on 30th June 2026 at 10:30 a.m. in Room G5. The event was filled with excitement, featuring a variety of engaging games and entertaining activities that encouraged interaction and team spirit among the students. The celebration reached its peak with the crowning of Mr. Fresher to Atharva Hande from F.Y.B.Sc. AI & ML and Miss. Fresher to Miss.Shrinidhi Balaji from F.Y.B.Sc. Cyber Security . An energetic DJ session added vibrancy to the occasion, creating a lively and memorable atmosphere.

Name of the Event: FIRST YEAR ORIENTATION

The orientation program for First Year B.Sc. Information Technology, Data science , Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning , Cyber Security & Digital Forensic students was conducted on 22th June 2026 at 10.30 AM in room no 109.The session aimed to welcome the new batch and familiarize them with the key aspects of their academic journey. During the orientation, students were briefed by Head of the Department Mrs. Shilpa nimbre about the college infrastructure and the faculties, National Education Policy (NEP) and detailed information regarding their subjects, syllabus and the examination pattern under their specialization.

Our principal madam Dr.Padmaja Arvind addressed the students for future goal and motivated students for furthers academics. The session was informative and interactive, helping students gain clarity about their course structure and expectations.

Name of the Event: Workshop on ESP32 for Cloud Applications

On 19th August, the Department of Information Technology & Mathematics organized a one-day workshop on "ESP32 for Cloud Applications” for S.Y. B.Sc. IT and T.Y. B.Sc. IT students, from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM at the Electronics Laboratory. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Manohar Desai, IoT & Embedded Systems Expert, and provided students with hands-on experience in ESP32 programming, GPIO and sensor interfacing, Wi-Fi and HTTP communication, ThingSpeak cloud connectivity, and remote monitoring and control. The workshop enhanced students’ technical, problem-solving, teamwork, and presentation skills while enabling them to develop practical IoT applications connected to cloud platforms. Overall, the workshop was highly informative and successfully bridged theoretical knowledge with practical implementation.

Name of the Event: Industry Expert Session on "Cloud, Security & Enterprise IT: Industry Practices and Career Opportunities

The Department of Information Technology & Mathematics, organized an Industry Expert Session on "Cloud, Security & Enterprise IT: Industry Practices and Career Opportunities” on 22nd August 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, for T.Y. B.Sc. (IT) students. The session was conducted by Mr. Noor Mohammed Abdul Jabbar Shaikh, Senior Microsoft 365 Administrator, CMS IT Services Pvt. Ltd. The resource person provided practical insights into cloud computing, enterprise IT environments, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365 administration, Identity and Access Management (IAM), data protection, compliance, and industry practices. Students actively participated through discussions and a question-answer session, gaining awareness of Zero Trust security, Multi-Factor Authentication, data backup, disaster recovery, and professional certifications. The session enhanced students’ understanding of current industry trends, career opportunities, professional skills, and industry expectations, successfully bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world enterprise IT practices.
