To ensure safety and quality of blood. Motivate and maintain a permanent well-indexed record of voluntary blood donors. Blood is essential to help patients survive surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries. This lifesaving care starts with one person making a generous donation. The need for blood is constant.
Outcome : NSS volunteers participated in Blood Donation Drive and thereby collected Blood from Community various stakeholders to help people.

Purpose of the Activity :NSS Unit of S.I.A College have ignited the flame of the nation-wide "MERI MAATI MERA DESH; MITTI KO NAMAN VEERON KA VANDAN” campaign, began on 9th August, 2023 by taking the solemn Panch Pran Pledge to mark the commencement of this campaign. The pledge was eloquently articulated by the senior-most volunteer, Gayatri Vetal.
Outcome :The NSS Volunteers took the Panch Pran Pledge with the fistful of soil in their hands. The volunteers pledged to:
1. Make India developed and self-reliant by 2047, 2. Remove any trace of colonial mindset, 3. Celebrate our heritage, 4. Strengthen unity and respect those who protect our country, and 5. Perform the duties of a citizen.

Purpose of the Activity :Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah under the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership launched the Amrit Kalash Yatra as part of the ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ campaign in New Delhi on 1st September 2023, celebrating India’s 75 years of independence. Envisioning that by August 15, 2047, India would lead globally in various domains through the upcoming Amritkal and "Sankalp Se Siddhi” initiatives. The ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ program aims to emotionally connect every individual, family, and citizen with the idea of creating a great India.
Outcome : The NSS Unit conducted a "Amrit Kalash” making activity on 08th September 2023 & 09th September 2023 (2 days) for 3 hours. The objective of this activity was to make the volunteers aware of the Amrit Kalash activity by painting the kalash (mud pots). The NSS Volunteers actively participated in the activity and the pots were later used for collecting soil.

As a part of better traffic management, the volunteers were given proper orientation by the Sr. Police Officials Mr. Shashikant and Mr. Gangurda sir on how to deal with the people and crises situation if any arises.

Finally, a garland was placed on his photo, symbolizing our reverence for his ideals and teachings. The event was a meaningful tribute to one of the most respected figures in Indian history.

Purpose of the Activity :NSS Unit of S.I.A College have ignited the flame of the nation-wide”MERI MAATI MERA DESH: MITTI KO NAMAN VEERON KA VANDAN” campaign, began on 9th August, 2023 to pay homage to the valiant soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation. Principal Dr. Padmaja Arvind, along with staff members, NSS Program officers and volunteers felicitated as a tribute to the courageous ‘Veers’ and is a culmination of the ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav,’ which commenced on March 12, 2021. The initiative involves a series of programs nationwide, including the planting of trees in the villages, Panch Pran Pledge, etc.

College of Higher Education, Dombivli (East) organised a felicitation programme under the Mera Maati, Mera Desh: Veeron Ka Vandan initiative of the Government of India. FIT India Mission has conceptualized FIT INDIA FREEDOM RUN 2.0 to commemorate the 75th Independence Day – "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”. Nationwide campaign will be on the concept of "Physical/Virtual Run” in continuum from 21 st August to 29 th August 2023 to encourage fitness and help us all to get freedom from obesity, laziness, stress, anxiety, diseases etc.

Purpose of the Activity :Rakshabandhan or Rakhi is an important Hindu festival, dedicated to brothers and sisters. On this auspicious day, sisters tie a thread on her brother’s wrist and pray for his long and prosperous life. In return, the brother gives a token of love to his loving sister. Raksha means safety and bandhan means bond.
Outcome : On this auspicious occasion, NSS team had organized a DIY activity of preparing Rakhi based on the theme "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”. Raksha means safety and bandhan means bond. To see the happiness on the face of Maharashtra Police & RTO, as they all are working for our safety, NSS volunteers spent some time with them by celebrating rakshabandhan.

Outcome : A session was conducted by Dr. Tanhaji Patil and Ms. Irin Chatarjee, communication Consultant, UNICEF Maharashtra on 18 September, 2023. The session included field testing on the brand name and tagline for the Anaemia campaign – Red Buddies. Awareness about Anaemia was also communicated to the volunteers.

Purpose of the Activity :Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah under the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's leadership launched the Amrit Kalash Yatra as part of the Meri Maati Mera Desh campaign in New Delhi on 01st September 2023, celebrating India’s 75 years of independence. Envisioning that by August 15, 2047, India would lead globally in various domains through the upcoming Amritkal and "Sankalp Se Siddhi” initiatives. The Meri Maati Mera Desh program aims to emotionally connect every individual, family, and citizen with the idea of creating agreat India.
Outcome : 75 plants were planted by the NSS Volunteers in the Amrit Vatika. NSS Programme Officer Mrs. Renu Verma has advised and directed to take care of the plants and assigned each plant to each volunteer of NSS to take care and ensure the growth of the plant. She has also motivated students to plant more trees and take care of these trees regularly. Furthermore, the volunteers have planted various plants with variety of samplings namely Mesh singhi, Kadamb, Kala shisham, Ramphal, Kadamb, Kaim, Dhaman, Maulshree, Doodhi, Papda, Garudvriksha, Putranjiva, Kosum, Harra, Bija, Amla, Baheda, Kabeet, Kasai etc. The volunteers also took a pledge for giving their commitment towards maintaining the Amrit Vatika.

Outcome : NSS Volunteers took advantage of this popular dish made from flattened rice which is not only delicious but also easy to prepare in large quantities. Volunteers cooked large batches of ‘Poha’ to serve to the poor and needy individuals across various locations. By distributing food on Republic Day, these volunteers honored the principles on which our nation was built – equality, justice, and fraternity.
