The primary purpose was to create mass awareness about the dangers of drug abuse, administer an anti-drugs pledge to citizens, and establish a year-long de-addiction and counseling initiative across schools and colleges.

Outcome of the activity: Chief Minister Fadnavis announced a strong anti-drug initiative for Maharashtra to protect students and curb drug mafias. The plan includes severe action against manufacturers, traffickers, and peddlers, with enforcement teams receiving a 30% extra incentive for successful operations. To boost public participation, informants providing credible information about drug networks will get financial rewards with full confidentiality. Under "Drug-Free Campus" and "Drug-Free School" programs, all schools and colleges must form de-addiction and counseling committees. Additionally, a year-long campaign of awareness, cultural, and sports events will run via "Drug-Free Mumbai" portal and helpline 1933 to promote a drug-free society.

Purpose of the Activity: The Health Check-Up Camp was organized to promote health awareness and encourage preventive healthcare among students and staff. The camp offered free General, Eye and Dental Check-Ups conducted by qualified doctors in collaboration with Anil Eye Hospital and CARE 1 by RR Hospital & Research Centre. Participants received medical advice and guidance for maintaining good health.

Outcome of the Activity: The Health Check-Up Camp was successfully conducted with active participation from students and staff. The beneficiaries received free health examinations and expert medical consultation. The programme helped spread awareness about the importance of regular health check-ups and encouraged a healthy lifestyle.

Purpose of the Activity: The "Plant for Planet: Plastic to Green – Sapling Collection” activity was organized to promote environmental conservation and encourage tree plantation among students. The main objective of the activity was to collect healthy saplings from volunteers and for future plantation drives. The initiative also aimed to spread awareness about reducing plastic pollution, increasing green cover, and protecting the environment through sustainable practices.

Outcome of the Activity: The Sapling Collection activity was successfully conducted with the enthusiastic participation of NSS volunteers. A considerable number of saplings were collected and documented for use in upcoming plantation programmes. The activity encouraged students to actively contribute towards environmental protection and highlighted the importance of afforestation in combating pollution and climate change. It also enhanced the volunteers’ awareness of ecological responsibility, teamwork, and community engagement.

Outcome of the Activity: Participants will gain enhanced knowledge of drug hazards and rehabilitation support, return equipped to conduct localized outreach drives and rallies, inspire positive behavioural changes toward healthy coping mechanisms, and strengthen inter-collegiate networks for national welfare.

Outcome of the activity: The documentary screening successfully increased awareness among students about the importance and impact of organ donation. Students gained a better understanding of how organ donation can save lives and were encouraged to spread awareness about the cause. The activity promoted a sense of social responsibility and inspired students to contribute towards creating a more informed and compassionate society.

Name of the Event: Dry Waste Collection Drive

Purpose of the Activity: To promote environmental awareness and encourage proper waste management practices among the public. The activity aimed to collect recyclable dry waste such as paper, plastic, cardboard, metal, and other reusable materials from households and nearby localities. It also sought to educate citizens about waste segregation at source and the importance of recycling for a cleaner and greener environment.

Outcome of the activity: The Dry Waste Collection Drive was successfully conducted with the active participation of NSS volunteers in collaboration with Nirmal Youth Foundation. A significant quantity of recyclable dry waste was collected and handed over for proper recycling. The campaign created awareness among residents about responsible waste disposal and inspired them to adopt eco-friendly waste management practices. The activity strengthened the volunteers’ sense of environmental responsibility and community service.
