Purpose of the event: The objective of the session was to create awareness among the students about use and impact of AI in the Banking and Insurance sector. 
Outcome: As part of Inter Collegiate Event  Praज्ञान , the Bankers and Movers Club under Department of Banking & Insurance organized Session on AI in Banking Sector. The resource person was Mr. Suresh Varma, Director FPA Edu tech ,Mumbai. The session covered topics such as AI in reshaping BFSI jobs, customer experience ,risks & frauds, skill building using AI etc. ​ 

The session was attended by the students from FY,SY, and TY classes from Banking & Insurance stream. Students actively participated and learned about AI in the Banking sector. 

Total beneficiaries: 68 (40 Female and 28 Male) students.

Name of the event: Session on Derivatives and Commodity Markets

Purpose of the event: To create awareness about the Derivative and Commodity Market among the students.
Outcome: The Bankers & Movers Club of Department of Banking and Insurance is organizing a Session on Derivatives and Commodity Markets on 23rd January 2026 to create awareness about Derivatives and Commodity Market among the students.

The Resource Person was Mr Mitez Sheth, SEBI Trainer. 

The session covered topics   such as basics of derivatives, commodity market, option trading, future trading, types of commodities traded, multi-commodity exchange and NCDEX, SEBI Regulations etc. The session was attended by the students of TY classes from Banking & Insurance, Accounting, and Finance. 

Students actively participated and learned about the Commodity and Derivatives Market. 

Total beneficiaries: 104 (64 female and 40 Male) students.

Purpose of the event: To create awareness about Frauds in Banking Sector among the students.
Outcome: The Bankers and Movers Club under Department of Banking & Insurance organised Session on Frauds in Banking Sector on 22nd July,2025 to create awareness among the students about Banking frauds and its mitigation. The session covered topics such as types of frauds, online and offline financial frauds, investment frauds, digital arrest, impersonation fraud, quishing ,phishing etc.
The session was attended by the students from FY,SY,TY classes from Banking & Insurance stream.
Students actively participated and learned about Frauds in Banking sector.
Total beneficiaries: 94 (48 female and 46 male ) students.

Purpose of the Activity: To orient first year students regarding Banking and Insurance course and departmental activities.

Outcome:  Department of Banking & Insurance organized an Orientation Programm to orient first year students regarding Banking and Insurance course and departmental activities. The information related to NEP implementation for Banking and Insurance course was given to students . They were given information regarding academic subjects, activities organized by the departmental club, various committees and facilities given by the college.

Total beneficiaries:   23 ( 18 female and  5 male ) students.

Name of the Event: Video screening on Nationalization of Banks in India on the occasion of Bank Nationalization Day

Purpose of the Activity: To create awareness among the students in the campus about the importance of Bank Nationalization Day. 

Outcome: A video on bank Nationalization and its importance was screened for the students of B. Com, BBI,BMS,BAF,IT ,BAMMC .The video was taken from  Milestones Series: Nationalization of Banks 

Students actively watched it and learned about Bank Nationalization. 

Total beneficiaries:    454 ( 286 female and 168 male ) students.

Fresher Interaction Programme to facilitate communication and co-ordination among all the

department students.

Students of Second year and Third year shared their experiences related to academic and club

activities organised under the club in the past year.

First year students actively participated in the activities such as games, talent show etc organised

by SY and TY students.

Purpose of the Activity:  The objective of the quiz competition was to create awareness of the BFSI sector and enhance knowledge through healthy competition and learning with engaging activity and fun among the students. 

​​Outcome: As part of Inter Collegiate Event  Praज्ञान , the Bankers and Movers Club under Department of Banking & Insurance organized Quiz Competition on BFSI Sector .The quiz was open to all college students with valid college ID card. Team size was 3 members in a team .The quiz had questions related to BFSI Sector in  multiple rounds like MCQ, Audio-Visual, Abbreviation, Buzzer round.​ 

 8 groups ( 24 students) participated in the quiz competition and 2 groups were declared as winners and runners up and were awarded cash prizes and certificates. 

Students actively participated as an audience and answered the questions. 

Total Attendees :   75 (49 Female and 26 Male) students.

Outcome:  The Department of Banking & Insurance organized a college counsellor session on to facilitate communication and co-ordination of counsellor interaction with students.

Students were given information regarding the Counselling hub and its activities in the college.

Students of first year attended the session.
