Purpose of the Activity: To facilitate communication and co-ordination counsellor interaction with students.

Outcome: The Department of Banking & Insurance organized a college counsellor session for FY,SY,TY Students to facilitate communication and co-ordination of counsellor. Students were given information regarding the Counselling hub and its activities in the college.

The session covered topics related to Mental Health and wellbeing, social and emotional state of mind, various addictions, stress and importance of seeking help etc. Students actively participated in the discussion and also learned ways to manage stress and mental health on a daily basis.

Total beneficiaries: 89 ( 57 female and 32 male) students.

Purpose of the Activity: To facilitate communication and co-ordination among all the students of the departments.

Outcome:

The Bankers and Movers Club under Department of Banking & Insurance organised

Fresher Fiesta event under Deeksha Programme to facilitate communication and co-ordination among all the department students.

Students of Second year and Third year shared their experiences related to academic and club activities organised under the club in the past year.

First year students actively participated in the activities such as games, Ramp walk, talent show etc organised by SY and TY students. Miss & Mr Fresher were felicitated with sash followed by a cake cutting event.

Name of the Event: First Year Students Orientation Program

Purpose of the Activity: To orient first year students regarding Banking and Insurance Programme and departmental activities.

Outcome: Department of Banking & Insurance organized one week Orientation Programme – Deeksha to orient first year students regarding Banking and Insurance course and departmental activities. The purpose is to orient first year students regarding Banking and Insurance Programme and departmental activities.

The information related to NEP Autonomous implementation for Banking and Insurance course was given to students. They were given information regarding academic subjects, evaluation patterns, activities organized by the departmental club, various committees and clubs established in the college and facilities given by the college. Students were also given the opportunity to participate in cultural and sports events to showcase their talents.

Students of Third year shared their experiences related to academic and club activities.

Purpose of the Activity: To develop money management skills, practical life skill that helps individuals to make informed decisions relating to Finance among students

Outcome: The Bankers and Movers Club under the Department of Banking & Insurance organised a session on Financial Literacy (Smart Investor Awareness) in association with Gyanaashi LLP (Company providing literacy programmes adult education and literacy services) on the occasion of Bank Nationalisation Day on 20th July,2026.

The session covered topics such as Savings ,Investment Avenues, Inflation ,Financial Products, Financial Planning, Mutual Funds SIP , Depository Services, Expenses ,Budgets etc.

The resource person was Bhakti Mulchandani, (Partner & key management personnel).

Total beneficiaries: 243 (158 female and 85 male ) students.

Name of the Event: Video screening on Nationalization of Banks in India on the occasion of Bank Nationalization Day

Purpose of the Activity: To create awareness among the students in the campus about the importance of Bank Nationalization Day.

Outcome: The Bankers and Movers Club under the Department of Banking & Insurance organised a Video Screening Event on Bank Nationalization Day (19th July) to create awareness among the students in the campus about the importance of Bank Nationalization Day.

The students of B. Com, BBI, MS,BAF,IT ,BAMMC classes actively watched it and learned about Bank Nationalization.
